“Dunbar & Boardman started trading in 1981 and since then the company has moved with the times through the technological evolution. Given the rise of social media we needed to be in this space and it was in April 2014 I was introduced to Mike Pitt of Marketing Fundamentals Ltd, a Content Marketing Agency. Mike began blogging for us the following month and was also running our Twitter account. He also liaised with our staff to direct what should appear on the LinkedIn Company Page.”

Weekly blogging – Wrote a new blog post each week and this was published on the D& B Blog.

Twitter – Tweeted blog content and retweeted relevant third party content every week day.

LinkedIn – Posted to LinkedIn once per day.

Re-wrote website from a Content Marketing perspective, making content more engaging.

Results

Web traffic to the Dunbar and Boardman websitre was up 54% within first 4 weeks of activity starting.

Twitter followers and engagement increased.

LinkedIn engagement and number of Company Page followers increased

Company profile raised within the Vertical transportation sector.

In September 2015 Dunbar and Boardman was acquired by TUV SUD, an international service corporation focusing on consulting, testing, certification and training.
