Is SlideShare Dead ?

A few years ago, SlideShare used to be a very important platform; SlideShare is a platform you could consider as ‘YouTube for  presentations’. LinkedIn bought SlideShare in 2012 for $119 million. You can access SlideShare from your LinkedIn profile.

In this video, I demonstrate how to do this and give my thoughts on the current state of SlideShare.

LinkedIn’s Priorities

In the years since LinkedIn’s purchase of SlideShare, the senior management of LinkedIn may have changed their priorities. Is SlideShare still important to them?
