While most business owners and entrepreneurs will lack the resources of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mansour_bin_Zayed_Al_Nahyan" target="_blank">Sheik Mansour </a>, the Abu Dhabi based owner of Manchester City there are still clear lessons that business owners can learn from the newly crowned premiership champions.</p>
<h3>Lessons for Entrepreneurs from Manchester City Football Club</h3>
<p><strong>1. Never give up</strong><br />
Business owners will face a number of challenges and failures along their journey and the easiest thing to do it to quit. That is what most people do when faced with uncomfortable situations. It requires more heart and courage to keep on giving your all when all is seemingly lost or at least the success you crave appears impossible. Most successful entrepreneurs have experienced a large number of failures but they did not quit.</p>
<p><strong>2. Don’t worry about your competitors</strong><br />
Ultimately you cannot control what your competitors do. They are free to plan and execute their strategy to the best of their ability as you are too. Focus on your core strengths and you will perform at your best just as a successful team must do.</p>

You may think that you know who your company’s star performers are but will be surprised. Once your company is performing at its optimum level you will see the equivalent of your Edin Dzeko, Martín Demichelis and Fernando Luiz Roza (Fernandinho) rise to the occasion.</p>
<p><strong>4. Focus on building a legacy</strong><br />
While the achievement of your next milestone should be celebrated it is not the end goal. You should be on a path towards creating an entity that can continue without your direct involvement. To do this you will need the right strategy and focus as well as the team to get you there.</p>

<p>The co- founder and former CEO of Microsoft, the world’s largest personal computer software company has Warren Buffett as his mentor. Warren Buffet* is one of most successful stock market investors in history.</p>

Steve Jobs was a genius, and his negotiation strategy is probably the most unbelievable of them all. His tactic was to come up with offers that no other competitor could render. That’s exactly what happened when he wanted Lala (the future iTunes). Nokia offered $11 million for the startup, so Jobs took a piece of paper, gave it to the CEO, and the deal was closed. The amount was $80 million.</p>

Facebook CEO and multi-millionaire Mark Zuckerberg likes to acquire a start-up without consulting with his advisors. In 2012, Facebook agreed to a deal with Instagram worth $1 billion. He didn’t want to consult with his lawyers, and he closed the deal while eating ice cream with Kevin Systrom, CEO of Instagram. The deal was signed in a day and nobody knew anything about it.</p>

Jeremy Stoppelman, CEO and founder of Yelp, managed to stay very calm when Yahoo and Google mentioned they want to buy his review business. He told Fast Company that the negotiation didn’t live up to his expectations, and that both Yahoo and Google only wanted to know the worth of his company. So he turned them down.</p>

<p>Mrs Chu was born and raised in Sichuan and studied as a college student in Beijing and while there she became interested in flavours and fragrances. Rather than follow the traditional route of good job and benefits she <strong>became interested in business and trade straight away </strong>and followed her passion to found her flavourings and fragrance business aged 27. Since renamed Huabao International Holdings, the company makes tobacco flavourings for China&#8217;s top cigarette makers. It also produces fragrances and food flavourings for use in detergents, beverages, dairy products and cosmetics. Chu Lam Yiu was the world&#8217;s youngest female entrepreneur who became a self made  billionaire until Sarah Blakely came along.</p>

In the 1990s this  founded Fuwah International and now has diversified her business interests .Today this female entrepreneur holds much elevated position in the list of successful women in business.</p>

She gave considerable donations to the Barack Obama presidential campaign of 2008 and is also a noted philanthropist. Her $2.7bn (£1.7bn) wealth saw her become the world&#8217;s first ever black female entrepreneur to became billionaire, and the only black billionaire between 2004 &#8211; 2006.</p>
